We have An Arrangement

 

Hastily scrawled with a fountain pen. Top panel shows anthropomorphic Death as a skull-faced figure in a robe, holding a scythe and saying, "ARE YOU READY". Bottom panel is captioned "& so I made Death a sandwich". With a drawing that I hope is recognizable as a sandwich.
