JPEG crystals

At a business meeting with a table of stick figures in neckties, a person in a dress introduces the room to Lobsterman, an anthropomorphic crustacean horror with a grinning maw and gigantic lobster claws: "Team, meet our consultant, Lobsterman, who's here to explain the upcoming campaign." Lobsterman says, "I think "threatvertizing" is pretty self-explanatory..."

It's Remake Monday, and I did improve the words, but the terrible 2011 drawing is just going to have to stay. I did SVGify the original tiny cluster of JPEG crystals, so that's...something, I guess.

Festive fish

Lobsterman doesn't celebrate Fishmas, but the snacks are pretty great.

Compare today's Remake Monday with the original from 2016-12-24.

Basement thoughts

This one's not technically a re-run, unless I showed you this at school back then. I was just starting to realize I wasn't too cool for poetry, but I was also watching Salad Fingers more than is probably good for a person.

Look but do not touch

The subject of today's Remake Monday was first drawn sometime in 2004, before there was such a thing as CrustaceanSingles. It was one of Lobsterman's earliest appearances on paper. I was not paying attention in class. There were more important things to do.
(The original drawing was subsequently posted on 2012-03-26 as a re-run.)

A cautionary reality

Lobsterman used to appear a lot more often in these comics. He tends to lurk backstage these days, I think because the chaotic evil he represents is less amusing to me in a world full of real, emboldened chaotic evil.
But here he is for Remake Monday, reminding you that he's perfectly willing to devour your children.
