One bottle left

Panel 1 of 4: A stick figure viewed from the chest up smiles and says, "Juice time." Panel 2 of 4: The same figure crouches before an opened refrigerator, looking and reaching for a the back of a shelf and thinking, "One bottle left at the back. Passed over every time before It is your turn at last." Visible on the door shelf of the fridge are some bottles, one marked with a plus-minus symbol and another with an ampersand, and two jars appearing to contain a forked gherkin and kalamata olives respectively. On the top shelf, a container marked "dubious paste" and a jug labeled "ilk minus". Panel 3 of 4: A closeup: the figure's hand holds a bottle of dark purple juice with a dark purple-grey label reading "The Final Juice". Panel 4 of 4: The view returns to chest up of the figure, who now frowns with a hand pensively rested on their chin and says, "Ehhh...not that thirsty." END

Thanks for joining me on this juiceposting journey. Tomorrow I return to the wilderness, resuming my usual wanderings until I find the next obsession.
BUT—!
Over the last month, I drafted many, many more adventures in juice. I am going to compile them, along with the dailies I've posted & various notes & commentaries, into a small book or zine. I'm going to aim for a digital version on a pay-what-you want basis and see if I can even manage that much. A stretch goal would be to produce a limited run of physical copies to sell or trade.
If you want to help make that happen, here are some things you can do: 1) comment something to the effect of "do it do it DO IT" / 2) deliver a small monetary encouragement at ko-fi.com/CrustaceanSingles / 3) send me any Juice That Makes You Less of A Disaster you may have lying about.
Thanks for reading.

No flying away

I'll come back. Probably. Maybe.
...
(Reminder: I'm purposely breaking my eleven-year daily streak tomorrow and taking a sabbatical during the month of August. But don't worry: I'll be posting reruns every day during that time, so you can still get your daily fix.)

Eleven years

A Birthday Announcement
I have been doing this every day for eleven years today. For a bunch of reasons, I have decided to force myself to take a break during the month of August this year. During that time, I'll post re-runs on the platforms where you read these comics. Your requests and suggestions could really help me out, so don't be shy if there's something from the archives you'd like to see. (The easiest to navigate {and most complete} archive is the one you can find on the desktop version of the terrible website you are currently on.)

Masquerade party

I usually do 'Remake Monday' by digging through my archives for an old comic with a concept I like and an execution I think I can do better now. But today I am mostly phoning it in; I've replaced the original's illegible scrawl of G-2 ink with the custom handwriting font I use now, and changed one word, but that's all. I hope that, if nothing else, this makes my current comics look a little better by comparison.

The subject of today's Remake Monday was first posted on 2014-05-03.

Stability and abrasiveness

Sometimes posting the weird doodles from my drafts (instead of trying to force my next work of genius) is as close as I get to self-care. At least this one isn't total gibberish (I hope).

Moving forward and looking back

The last time I moved, I drew this one with a crappy ballpoint pen and made a terrible scan of it with my phone camera. This time, I'm too tired to even do that much. I'll hope to be back to new comics tomorrow.

The adaptation game

The only truly consistent thing is change
(For anyone worried that CrustaceanSingles has become a baby-based comic, consider this episode 3/3 of the newborn trilogy. I'll be returning to the usual eclectic mix tomorrow, although I'm sure the baby will return to the frame from time to time.)

Technical impossibilities

Power's been out in most of my city since sometime in the night. Internet access is just barely starting to get fast enough to post this. A lot of things are technical impossibilities right now.

Apophenia on the couch

I want to wish the happiest of birthdays to my best friend/spouse/favorite human. You make everything better, including these comics. Let's keep getting super old together.

Do you believe them yet?

The masks are all the way off. Do you believe them yet?
P.S. Everyone should read Umberto Eco's "Ur-Fascism", especially the list he begins on page 5 [PDF warning].
